We take great pride in our billiard facilities. Not just because of our 9 tournament quality tables with professional lighting, but also, Allison Fisher has become our unofficial house pro player. We also have a video game arcade area and, of course, a jukebox.
In addition to it's association with Allison Fisher and hosting the Women's North Carolina 9-Ball Open for three consecutive years, in our 8 year history, Family Billiards has a rich tradition of hosting and supporting various tournaments. We've held three Women's Professional Billiards Association qualifiers - in which the winner earned a birth in a regular nationally televised WPBA tour stop.
The very popular weekly handicapped Tuesday and Thursday 8-ball and 9-ball tournaments are open for all players of all abilities, and regularly attract from 15 to 30 player fields. We've also supported Junior pool by hosting BCA Junior National Qualifiers in each of the last 7 years. A highly anticipated event for the regulars is the annual 9-Ball Club Championship tournament, as well as a Senior 9-Ball Club Championship tournament (for players 50 and over) - both of which are limited to Family BIlliards regular players.
The most highly acclaimed pool instructional school in the country - Cuetech Pool School, based in Dallas, TX has hosted a 3 day school here at Family Billiards. The staff at Cuetech loved the room so much that they plan to make this a yearly stop on their select list of rooms chosen to host a school. Lastly, every summer Family Billiards offers a Junior Instructional Clinic for junior players of all levels.
There is no doubt that Family BIlliards is all about pool - from entry level players wishing to learn the game the right way, all the way up to advanced tournament players looking to play on the top equipment in the industry and further improve their games!

Our weekly 8-ball and 9-ball tournaments are both handicapped, which gives players of all skill levels an opportunity to do well. They are both double elimination format. BCA rules apply to both tournaments.
